[edit] What's the difference between a "user" and a "member"?

A user represents a login and it's password. It's used to access the ScoutManage site, and determines what members may be accessed and what permissions are given for specificsite features.

A member is either a scout or a leader within the unit. Every scout and every leader should be members in ScoutManage. Achievements, ranks, dues, fees, etc. are all tracked towards members.

A user may have access to information from one or more members, depending on the permissions they have set.

The user that has unit administration permissions set may determine the permissions access that other users have, and what members those users may access.
