The [Scout] menu contains a list of all scouts and leaders that are assigned to your user account. This should be the entire list of leaders and scouts within your family that are members of this unit. If this list is empty, or does not contain the correct list of leaders/scouts, please contact your unit’s ScoutManage Administrator to have it setup correctly.

You can view information about a member in your family by going to their profile page. To do this:

  • Click [Scout].
  • If you see the name of the scout that interests you in the list, click on it.
  • Otherwise, click Select Scout... and it will take you to a list of all scouts you can access, click the appropriate scout.
  • If you still cannot see the member you are looking for, contact your unit’s ScoutManage administrator.

On the Scout Profile Page, you will see contact information, fees due, and status of all achievements that scout is working on.

Note: If you have multiple scouts in your family, you will only see information, such as fees, dues, awards, permission slips, that apply to the single, currently selected scout.

On the Scout Profile Page, you can view:

  • Contact Information. Basic information such as, name, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and other basic are shown here. You may modify this information by clicking [Edit Member]. Note that this information pertains to this member only, and is used for the unit roster, membership information, and unit communications. This information will be available to other members of your unit and will be used on rosters and other reports. If you have multiple members assigned to your family, each one may have the same or different information here.
  • Upcoming Events. For some upcoming unit events, your unit leadership may request you to RSVP in order to determine how many people will be attending. If there are events for this scout that you have not yet RSVP’d, they will appear on this page. Note that if multiple members are attending the same event, you should RSVP each member separately on their own member page.
  • Permission Slips. Some events require parent permission slips in order for the scout to attend. If you have any upcoming events that require permission slips you have not yet turned in, they will appear on this page.
  • Fees/Dues. If you owe any unit dues, or fees for an event, they will appear on this page.
  • In Progress Awards. This is a list of all achievements, rank advancement, patches and other awards this member is currently working on.
  • Ready to receive. This is a list of all achievements, rank advancement, patches and other awards this member has earned but have not yet been awarded or received.
  • Received. This is a list of all previous achievements, rank advancement, patches and other awards this member has earned and received while a scout.

Note that, depending on the permissions your unit has given you, this information may be read/only, meaning you can view but not modify it. If your unit has granted you read/write permission, then you can go into an individual achievement, such as one in progress, and make updates to requirements your scout has completed at home. This allows your leader to know the progress your scout has made while at home, and adding that to things they have done at scouting events, can determine when an achievement has been earned.
