ScoutNet

From ScoutManage

ScoutNet was a standard setup by BSA for their internal management of member data. Several years ago, a very small handful of external management systems were allowed to integrate with ScoutNet. Since that time, ScoutNet has been unwilling or unable to open their interface to any other external management systems. Regularly, we contact BSA to request they reopen the ScoutNet certification process, but at this time they have been unwilling to.

Once they provide open access to ScoutNet certification, or other online BSA integration system, we will aggressively upgrade ScoutManage to support it and become certified. Once we do, we will provide an update as soon as possible as a standard part of our service.

If you would like to see ScoutManage, or any other scout management system provide this support, please contact your local council and BSA directly and express your opinion. We would appreciate the support.

We have also heard some rumors that BSA may replace ScoutNet with another online processing system, perhaps already with some councils. If and when this happens, and if the interface is open to outside scout management systems, we will of course support this mechanism as well.
