As a leader, you may have your own blog configured. You may use this blog to communicate with other scouts in your den/patrol, or if you are a unit leader, you may use it to communicate with all members of the unit. If you own a blog, you can click [Blogs] -> Add Entry (author)… to create a new entry for a blog. If you have multiple blogs you are allowed to author, you will be presented with a list of blogs to select.

Note that you should inform the leaders/parents that you are targeting with your blog that they should subscribe to the blog. By doing that, they will have your blog listed in the [Blogs] menu option, and the last few entries for each subscribed blog will appear (if they desire) on their Family Home Page, making it easily available when you add a new entry.

You may use blogs to communicate information to parents, talk about upcoming events, encourage parents to work on a specific requirement at home, or other purposes. Blogs are an effect means of one person communicating to a larger group of people, as long as all individuals the blog is intended for make use of it. As a leader, you should encourage all members to subscribe and view their relevant blogs.

If you do not have any blogs configured, or if you want a new blog setup that you can use, please contact your unit administrator (or visit Blogs/Admin) and they can setup a blog for you to use.
